A creative soul is what an artist needs to show their passion and imagination. The life that evolves and risks worth taking is what motivates a true artist to show their true talent. ~ Sheree

Sheree's passion for photography was one that was sown many year's ago. With a penchant for film format camera's and progressing to digital, it was only after the birth of her son in May 2005, that her lifelong ambition of developing her passion was recognised. It enabled Sheree to capture every development of her newborn baby.
"Without doubt photography has always been a great importance in my life, I love looking back on childhood memories, old photographs of generations past, and my own special wedding. Photography became more profound for me when I had my first child, I wanted to record every aspect of my baby's development as those milestones are so fleeting, it was the only way to freeze those moments in time, and I hope that generations to come will look back on these memories, of which I have captured. To me it has always been about creating my own personal timeline and history, of which are visually captivating".
Through this personal attribute to life, more importantly family life, is truly what motivates Sheree to photograph newborns and family; to capture the true meaning of 'life', and to see the emotional bond between children and their families during these sessions is what Sheree knows is a special time to witness, and capture on camera forever.

1. I love; my wonderful little boy, my gorgeous hubby, my mother, my sweet little dog Joey, my friends, life, spontaneous gestures, lie-ins, summertime, wintertime, Christmas, snow, re-runs of 'Only Fools and Horses', Barbra Streisand (and Robert Redford esp. in 'The Way We Were'), the Twilight series, True Blood, Medium (tv series with Patricia Arquette), my homemade sticky toffee pudding, my local chinese restaurant, shoes, bags, cups of tea, fresh bed linen, girls night out, 80's music, and making everyone happy!
2. I hate (!); ironing, early morning wake up calls, cold-calling, rain, cold and damp days, queues, invading my space (esp. in queues!), ignorant and rude people, no change for the parking, people not indicating on the road, forgetting birthdays (rarely do though!), and god forbid making anyone unhappy!
3. True/Random facts; I'm half Filipino (from my mother's side) but unfortunately can't speak the language (!), I am an only child, I won our honeymoon in a wedding magazine competition, I wrote to Jimmy Saville at 'Fix It' but never got a response, sang [bad] karaoke on a holiday with a friend in a local bar, fell down the stairs - well more liked rolled - from the top to the bottom underneath a small hall table and survived without breaking anything! Met Lenny Henry and Dawn French by chance at LAX airport back in the 90s, I'm short-sighted so wear contact lenses and I never leave the house without any make-up on!
